Breaking:Nollywood Actor, Olumide Bakare dies

Nollywood veteran actor, Olumide Bakare is dead. According to the Tribune, the actor’s personal assistant confirmed his death in the early hours of Saturday. Bakare who has been sick for more than a year was discharged from the University College Hospital (UCH) last year after he was allegedly diagnosed with a respiratory disorder problem. It was learnt that his ailment got worse in the middle of the night and was said to have called his personal assistant to take him to UCH but died before getting to the hospital. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital, according to findings. Actor, Saidi Balogun, said he received the news of his death with shock. “Yes, it is true Olumide Bakare is dead. He died on his way to his hospital. When I called his number, his personal assistant picked his phone and told me he was dead. That’s how much I can say for now.

It was a horrific incident over night at plaza area, Akure, Ondo State, as a building and properties of occupants totally got burnt. This blog gathered that the inferno started around 11:30 in the night when an occupant of the house simply known as Anuoluwapo woke up and saw that the house was covered with heavy smoke. 42 Buildings To Be Removed Towards Upgrading Sports Complex

In the quest for upgrading sports infrastructure and to avert future damages the recent whirlwind caused to the Ondo State Sports Complex recently, the 7-man committee set up by the government on the acquisition of buildings around the stadium has submitted its report. The committee which was inaugurated by the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Agboola Ajayi revealed in its report that 42 buildings needed to be removed from the location around the stadium to enable government carry out proper infrastructural upgrade of the facility. The 42 buildings include three worship centres and a primary school.
