Segun killed her mother over sex

A 33-year-old man, Segun Ogunlusi, who allegedly killed his mother, Abimbola Ogunlusi, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, has confessed that he killed her because she was persistently asking him for sex.

The suspect was paraded at the Ogun State Police Command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Tuesday by the state Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu, alongside 23 other suspects who were held for alleged armed robbery, stealing, cultism, and kidnapping.

The tragic incident occurred at No. 16, Oketunde Street, Molatori, Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.

Fielding questions from journalists during the parade, the suspect said he was provoked by his mother’s alleged incessant demand for sex.

He confessed to the murder that he carried it out on Tuesday morning when two of them  were at home, she was in the kitchen and she walked up to her and stabbed her in the stomach and she died.

He tried burning her but the corpse diddn't burn and later dumped the corpse in the soakaway. Segun however looked remorseful, and said he regretted his action.
