"NAOSS 2017 Election Will Be Free and Fair" _ Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu

The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has disclosed that his administration will not influence the forthcoming election of the National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) that is proposed to hold on the 13th of May.

The Governor also assured the association of his government support to give level play ground to every candidate that will take part in the election.

Akeredolu stated this while playing host to the National and principals of the association in his office, in Akure.

Represented by his Deputy, Hon. Agboola Ajayi at the event, the governor said he will not tolerate violence and won’t compromise in the forthcoming NAOSS election.

While responding to their demands, Akeredolu emphasized on the need for vocational centers to enhance self reliance of youths after graduation.

He also promised to look into the bursary and scholarship arrears owed by the immediate past government.

Speaking further, Akeredolu assured the members of the association that one of them will be considered in his administration appointment.

Earlier, the National President of the Association, Adeolu Iwakun commended the government on a well done administration, stating that the two months in government has been like 50 years in government.

Among the request of the association which call for the attention of the state government include, payment of the pending bursary, creation of more vocational centres for graduates and financial assistance for the forth coming election of the association.
