"We are tired of staying at home; " 2015 and 2016 students have missed the first batch of NYSC mobilization" and "please Re open our institution".

At the venue of the protest  a senior police officer addressed the students regarding the protest and they promised to be law abiding.

However, Twenty minutes later, some men of the Nigerian Army appeared in an  Hilux van, armed to the teeth, raided the students and beat them up and caused confusion at NATACO junction as the students ran for their dear lives.

The determined students re-converged, planning to go on the procession, when an Inspector (name withheld) accosted the students and arrested the two unharmed students before chasing the female student to make it a-three arrest.

The inspector, attached to A division, allegedly threatened the arrested students before taken them to an unknown destination.
