Certificate scandal: Dino Melaye heads to New York to file Cyberstalling case against SaharaReporters’ publisher

submit a copy of file case at the

Barely 24 hours after Ahmadu Bello
University (ABU) Vice Chancellor
established that senator Dino Melaye
graduated from the institution,
clearing him of certificate scandal, the
embattled senator has announced that
he would be filling Cyberstalling case
against SaharaReporters and Omoyele
Sowore who is the publisher of the
medium at a New York Court on
Friday March 31.

NAIJ.com had reported that Senator
Dino Melaye wore academic gown to
the plenary a day after ABU VC told
the Senate that he graduated from the
institution with a third class degree in
Geography.

Melaye whose first degree had come
under scrutiny in the recent weeks,
few hours after appearing at the
senate chamber on Tuesday March 28,
dropped on his twitter account his
plan to visit United State of America
for the suit.
The lawmaker has, however, insisted
he graduated from the university, one
of Nigeria’s oldest universities.

Meanwhile, during the hearing on
Monday March 27, the Chairman
Senator Samuel Anyanwu, having put
Dino Melaye on oath, explained that
there was a complaint against him by
a colleague, Senator Ali Ndume that
he was parading a questionable
degree certificate from Ahmadu Bello
University, Zaria.
