The people
of Igbara-Oke in Ifedare Local Government area of the state have been enjoined
to continuously rally round and support their new Oba, his Royal Highness Oba
Adefarakanmi Agbede in bringing development to the community as he received his
Staff of Office.
The
presentation of the Staff of Office was graced by the Ondo State Deputy Governor
Alhaji Abdulazeez Oluboyo and also by sons and daughters from within and
outside the community.

Addressing
the gathering, the Deputy Governor Alhaji Azeez Oluboyo appreciated the
peaceful co-existence of the people in the community which he said has paved
way for the numerous social, political and economic development of the area in
the past years.
Alhaji
Oluboyo said the choice of Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede whom he described as the ‘round
peg in the round hole’ by the king makers which will no doubt bring monumental
development in years ahead.
Also in his
remark, the chairman Igbaraoke Development committee said Oba Agbede has
contributed immensely to the development of the community in all ramifications.
The
chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ondo State Chief Clement Fakoyede
said the new Oba will be a ralling point for the sons and daughters of the
community.
Responding the new Oba His Royal Highness Oba
Adefarakanmi Agbede appreciated sons and daughters of the community for their
trust in him.
The
presentation of Staff of office was attended by Royal Majesties, Political
associates and friends from within and outside the community.
